Mortification (banda)

Ellos Son originarios de Australia e interpretan metal extremo, death y trash metal crsitiano siendo la banda cristiana mas exitosa en estos generos e inspiran a otras bandas de rock cristiano contemporaneas. Se formaron despues de la desintegracion de otra banda cristiana llamada “Lightforce”, han grabado cerca de veinte discos y varios videos musicales.

A principios de los 90′s Mortification perteneció a la “elite” del death metal siendo ampliamente reconocidos por su album Scrolls of the Megilloth. Despues de que partiera su baterista original, los chavos de Mortification experimentaron con otros generos como el groove metal y el hardocore punk. A pesar de que tuvieron algunos problemas con la critica en 1996 por el album EnVision EvAngelene aun conservan un estatus como “superestrellas del metal cristiano” y para el 2004  regresaron a sus raices deat/trash con el album Braincleaner
